The partner development position requires solid technical skills
and an ability to learn new software quickly and understand how it
works. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of social
media. A background in selling or supporting interactive local
media is a definite asset. You will be responsible for:
-Providing exceptional service and training for our partners
-Performing troubleshooting of our products and services
-Ensuring partners have required sales documentation and sales
collateral
-Maintaining product knowledge and awareness of developments
(being able to brief partners as necessary)
-Conducting online training calls and webinars with current and
potential partners
-Co-ordinating feedback from partners on product development
suggestions
-Utilizing CRM software to manage interactions with customers
-Performing Quality Control and QA on new releases
Skills:
-Solid knowledge of social media and a strong technical
background while you dont need a degree in computer science,
you have to understand new media and have an ability to
understand how software works, as youll have to answer basic
questions for partner integrations.
-Bachelors degree and minimum 3 years experience in sales
and/or marketing (or equivalent experience). Youll have to
demonstrate a proven track record of operating with a high level of
performance. Note: we wont rule out any ambitious, fresh-out-
of-university grads; just prove to us that youve got the kind of
drive were looking for.
-Superior communication skills and team attitudethis isnt just
filler for this ad. You have to be a team player at heart (we take
our culture seriously) and have that outgoing spark that can create
solid relationships with our partners.
-Organized and attentive to detail This position requires detail-
oriented work, and with the high volume of work that we have,
organization is essential.
