Canadian Trade International (CTI) is a project manager/general contractor and building materials supplier with projects throughout Saskatchewan consisting of a mix of new construction, renovations, RTM homes, build on site projects and pre-fab homes.
CTI is seeking a Construction Coordinator to work with its team on various tasks including:
Creating project proposals and monitoring the profitability of projects
Monitors costs related to labour, materials and equipment
Preparing purchase agreements and facilitating communications between customers and management
Negotiating prices with suppliers
Procurement of construction materials for all projects
Preparation and maintenance of price list database and quotes on home building projects
Monitor and control projects and communicate details with project managers
Submission of project status reports
Logistics and preparation of packing slips and pick up
Implementing the logistics for constructions projects
Requirements to be successful in this role:
The ideal candidate will have excellent English communication skills and is highly organized. You will possess strong computer skills (excel, word, ability to learn in house construction software- training provided), the ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively as a team, be detail oriented with excellent time management skills.
Experience in/knowledge of the construction industry is required.
Basic book keeping experience would be an asset.
Experience with purchasing and negotiations skills is preferable.
