United Rentals, the largest equipment rental company in the world, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Branch Manager ready to grow their career with the leader in the industry. To continue our tremendous success and unparalleled growth, we are searching for qualified and ambitious individuals that will be responsible for the daily operations of a profit center dedicated to meeting the equipment rental needs of contractor companies, industrial and commercial companies and homeowners. The Branch Manager will report to the District Manager and will be instrumental in supporting the business plan through profitable revenue generation.

The Branch Managers primary responsibility is to overall manage the operations to ensure productivity, customer service and profitability. This is accomplished by overseeing all sales efforts and business initiatives.

Additional Duties will include:
Oversee all safety matters, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations and drug and alcohol testing.
Prepare reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly operation reviews, yearly budgets and other reports detailing operations status.
Manage all personnel matters.

Superior customer service remains the backbone of United Rentals, therefore your willingness and ability to provide this to each customer makes you a top-notch candidate. To be qualified, the ideal candidate will 5+ years of successful business management experience with profit and loss responsibility at a branch or other individual profit center. A minimum of one year supervisory experience and proven sales and customer service success is a must. Proficient computer skills with at least 1 year experience using Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will have effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills. We also look for candidates who are independent and possess strong teamwork and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
