Description

Engineering for Kids is looking for energetic and
highly motivated students who enjoy working with
kids, inspiring them to be the next generation of
engineers! We will provide on the job training for
Assistant Instructors and there is the opportunity
for assistants to eventually move into Lead
Instructor positions.

Requirements
1.    Leadership  Managing a Group of Children:
You will assist the Lead Instructor to guide the
children through the activities on time.  You
manage their attentions and the behavioral
outliers in a way that is comfortable and does not
detract from the experience the group is having.
2.    Customer Orientation: You demonstrate
concern for satisfying your external and internal
customers.  This includes professional conduct and
appearance in front of parents, the children,
facility employees, and Engineering for Kids staff
members.
3.    Oral Communication:  You express yourself
clearly in conversations and when you are
instructing the children.
4.    Thoroughness: Ensuring that your work and
the work of others (including information) are
complete and accurate.  You carefully prepare
before sessions and follow up afterwards.
5.    Transportation: Must have access to
dependable transportation.

Duties
You will assist the Lead Instructor to conduct,
and clean up after sessions where you guide
children through problem solving exercises using
engineering principles and methods.
