Description

Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority is seeking a positive individual to lead a team of internal and external Technical Analyst support resources. The position is responsible for supervision, mentoring, assigning tasks as well as monitoring and evaluating work output. In addition to ongoing support and maintenance tasks, the Technical Lead will be responsible for managing Operational Projects within their area of expertise. They will also contribute area expertise to large scale Strategic Initiations and be an ongoing project team member. They are required to make recommendations to the Technical Supervisor regarding the planning, architecture and maintenance of all critical electronic business systems in use at SLGA for their specific area of expertise.

Each Technical Lead will supervise a minimum of two direct reports but will also be responsible for ongoing cross training and mentorship with all of the Technical Analyst staff to ensure adequate knowledge, skills and support coverage exist. They will also advise, guide and mentor the Service Desk Analysts to grow knowledge within the Technical Operations as a work unit.
