Description

The position is based in Estevan, SK, but
will be travelling throughout the Canadian
Prairies where are located various sites.
    The incumbent manages and guarantees that
all ESHA activities are in compliance with
legislation.  
    The manager acts as a consultant for
safety, health and environmental issues at all
sites; monitors regulations, national and local
laws, emergency issues and ensures procurement and
documentation of required data.
    Acts as a support to the manufacturing
areas in the evaluation of risks; works to achieve
compliance with corporate, regional and company
standards and ESHA targets.
    ESHA Manager defines investment projects
related to ESHA issued; organizes, prepares and
participates in the site local emergency
management (LEM); evaluates the investments and
expenses budgets for ESHA matters; monitors and
reports the follow up of ESHA audits and insurance
inspections.
    ESHA Mgr. reports to NOAM SEO with site
information; prepares, collects and provides key
figures, risk portfolio corrective actions and
status updates; reviews environmental and safety
compliances with law, evaluates their impact on
the company's  operations.  
    Administers ESHA human resources in plant
investigations conducted; supports contractors in
the definition of safety requirements; controls
contractors during the activities of service
provision at plant and field sites; accompanies
regular visits and requirements by authorities;
investigates accidents and incidents cases at all
Canadian OMS sites.
    Suggests corrective and preventive actions
on site's risk portfolio and daily dangerous
situations.
