Description

Working in a team environment with other highly skilled, professional staff, the position is responsible for providing 2nd level clinical supervision, program, technical and administrative assistance and support to a team of front line service providers who provide home visiting, screening, assessment, referral and case management services for families, as well as providing access and linkages to community based services, resources and programs.
The position takes a leadership role in the planning, development, and coordination of more effective, integrated, and comprehensive family focused services based on the priorities identified by each of the seven member First Nations.
QUALITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
A Degree in a social work, human services discipline or other related field;
A minimum of three years experience working with First Nations wellness issues in direct service delivery;
Experience with coordinating special projects, facilitating workshops and training;
Must have a valid Saskatchewan drivers license and reliable vehicle and meet STCs insurance requirements;
Must have a clear current CPIC (Canadian Criminal Records Check), which identifies a vulnerable sectors check;
Knowledge of the political, social and economic objectives of the Saskatoon Tribal Council and of the Dakota, Cree and Saulteaux cultures will be considered an asset; and
An understanding of Child & Family Services would be an asset.
