Located on the 15 Wing Military Base in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, the Financial Analyst will be responsible to the Finance Manager for accounting procedures and processes, internal controls, reporting, and providing advice to management and staff with respect to financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
In your role, you will:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable;
Prepare month-end reporting and analysis of financial results and forecasts for assigned departments and activities;
Liaise with assigned department staff to prepare annual budget, Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecast, annual operating and other forecasts as required;
Provide advice and assistance to departmental staff in interpreting and applying Financial Policies.
As our ideal candidate,
Completion of a Bachelor of Business Administration/Commerce Degree specializing in Accounting, or a two year Accountancy Diploma;
Three years of progressive work experience in accounting with related tasks would be preferred;
Knowledge and experience with SAP or other large size integrated business systems would be considered an asset;
Candidate must successfully pass a security evaluation per the requirements of the Controlled Goods Directorate of Canada and to Bombardier being able to obtain all necessary re-transfer authorization in compliance with US ITAR regulations.
