Description

The Service Technician is responsible for providing warranty and repair work in customers homes on All Weather Windows products (windows and doors).

The Ideal Candidate will have a track record of excellent customer service, skill and proficiency with hand tools, and a positive team focused attitude. They will be able to complete simple jobs efficiently and effectively, and assist team members in more complex repairs.

Responsibilities will include:

Assists with installation and repair of windows and doors in homes and businesses
Assists in on-site repair of product and installation of Glass and site glazing
Assists with replacing sealed units and door slabs, making screens, adjusting windows and doors, and replacing casings
Inspects job sites, measures sealed units and replaces capping and caulking
Represents the company in contacts with dealers, contractors and homeowners
Complies with all Health & Safety regulations
Performs other duties as required

Primary Qualifications Required:
Good customer relations, written and verbal communication skills
Must be a team player
Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Innovative and problem-solving skills
Mechanically inclined and able to work on scaffolding at heights over 12 feet
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Position may require work beyond scheduled hours (i.e. overtime at short notice)
