for multiple full time permanent Claims Clerks in
the Health & Dental Claims Department in our
Saskatoon Office.
JOB FUNCTION
This position provides administrative & data entry
support to the Health & Dental Claims Department,
ensuring that all policies, procedures & standards
are met.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Receive, organize, retrieve, distribute & file
mail, faxes, documents & files
-Receive, prepare, sort, organize & route imaged
health & dental claims
-Scan, print, fax & photocopy material
-Stuff & label envelopes
-Efficient & accurate entry of health & dental
claim data
-General administrative support
-Data entry support as required
-Update plan/member information as required
-Maintain procedures manual
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
-Preference will be given to those with a related
diploma or business certificate; or an equivalent
combination of training & experience
-Previous experience in the insurance industry, a
similar role or office environment would be an
asset
-Ability to work efficiently with an emphasis on
attention to detail & accuracy
-Ability to manage multiple priorities & work to
frequent deadlines
-Self-motivated with ability to work both
independently & as a team member with limited
supervision
-Ability to maintain confidentiality
-Ability to deal effectively and professionally
with various levels of internal & external
contacts
-Working knowledge of Internet, E-mail & Microsoft
Word & Excel
-Effective written, verbal & interpersonal skills
-Possess strong keyboarding skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
-Walk extensively
-Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
-Pull or push heavy-duty carts
