Weidner Investment Services is now hiring for 14 experienced Carpenters to work at our apartment communities throughout Saskatchewan. Ideal candidates will have 3 5 years experience working in construction and in carpentry specifically. Candidates will also have experience building items for the apartment communities and also making repairs to internal and external structures.
Job skills required are:
Experience constructing, erecting, installing, maintaining and repairing structures and components of structures made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and concrete
Determine specifications and calculate requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join moldings, wood materials, drywall, metal and plastic materials and concrete
Build foundations, build floor beams and sub flooring, build walls and install partitions, build built-in place pitched roof systems, build roof tissues, build and install platforms, scaffolding, ramps and ladders, operate power tools, concrete flat work and concrete form work
Required Skills:
Qualifications:
3 5 years experience working in construction, specifically carpentry
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
