Westcare Facility Services is seeking a full time
Cleaning Supervisor for a Shopping Centre in
Saskatoon.
Duties Include:
Cleaning
Exterior maintenance
Recruit, hire and train staff
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and
code of conduct
Ensure all employees are properly trained on
safety expectations and procedures and all safety
policies are adhered to
Responsible, in coordination with Area Manager,
for all personnel matters
Create and coordinate employee schedules
Maintain a positive and productive work
environment
Basic payroll
Acquisition of monthly supply and equipment
orders, inventory management
Arrange maintenance and repair of cleaning
equipment as required
Controlling a budget for both labour and cleaning
supplies
Responsible for overall cleaning quality of the
Shopping Centre
Manage the cleaning operations to meet and exceed
client expectations and fulfill the cleaning
specifications
Manage and perform cleaning duties, delegate and
follow up. Direct report for all staff
Consistent communication with Westcare Management
Work to maintain a positive business relationship
with the client and ensure customer satisfaction
of contract by meeting and exceeding quality
standards and maintaining a high level of
communication
Ensure appropriate documentation and reports are
filed in a timely manner
Supervise special project work
Other duties as assigned from time to time by the
Area Manager
Must be available outside of regular hours when
necessary
Requirements:
Cleaning and supervisory experience a must.
Fluent in English (speaking, reading & writing)
Knowledge of general maintenance requirements
Can be a physically demanding job
