lives. As the SACL Director of Community
Development, you will work closely with the
Community Development Coordinator who reports to
you and assists with Fundraising Development and
Administration.

Typical duties of the Director include:
- Donor Stewardship: connecting with donors,
communicating how exactly their donations
benefited those we support
- Donor Acquisition: establishing new
relationships and communicating how our work
benefits them and others
- Grant Writing: developing new funding
opportunities; processing current funder renewal
applications
- Donor Database: working with the Community
Development Coordinator to maintain and enhance
our donor database
- Information Tours and Fundraising Events:
coordinating and leading regular information tours
(both on and off-site), and our annual breakfast
fundraiser.
