Summary:
CNs Intermodal division operates a network of 15
Intermodal Terminals where containers are
transferred from train to truck and vice versa.
The safe, efficient and profitable operation of
these terminals requires motivation of personnel,
careful analysis of assets, operating strategies,
technology, and metrics to guarantee continued
sustainable growth while ensuring that CN remains
a world leader in progressive Intermodal
operations.
Intermodal Supervisors manage the day-to-day
operation including the Unionized Employees of the
Terminal / Territory. This role is critical to
ensure CNs service commitments to customers are
met. In our highly dynamic and international
environment a high degree of flexibility and
commitment is required. In return this position
offers an excellent opportunity to develop into a
more senior role over time.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will be required to identify and
generate operational opportunities/efficiencies
for the Terminal. You will be required to lead
people with clear direction and goals, required
competencies, resources and motivation.
