The YMCA Child Development Centre - Sutherland location - is seeking a professional, energetic, responsible, and committed person to join our team. We are looking for one full time Early Childhood Educator at our Sutherland location. This location provides care for children aged 18 months to 6 years.
Some duties include:
- Planning developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities in a play-based environment
- Participating in physical activities
- Encouraging child-led activities through carefully chosen equipment and toys
- Teaching children the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and inclusiveness towards all living things
- Cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing
Requirements:
- ECE Equivalency of Level 1,2, or 3, or other relevant education (or willingness to obtain)
- Related experience is an asset
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Clear Criminal Record Check in the vulnerable sector
- Clear TB test
