The YMCA Child Development Centre - Sutherland location - is seeking a professional, energetic, responsible, and committed person to join our team. We are looking for one Substitute Early Childhood Educator at our Sutherland location. This location provides care for children aged 18 months to 6 years.
Some duties include:
- Planning developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities in a play-based environment
- Participating in physical activities
- Encouraging child-led activities through carefully chosen equipment and toys
- Teaching children the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and inclusiveness towards all living things
- Cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing
Requirements:
- ECE Equivalency of Level 1,2, or 3, or other relevant education (or willingness to obtain)
- Related experience is an asset
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Clear Criminal Record Check in the vulnerable sector
- Clear TB test
