Description

CLAUDE RESOURCES INC. is a Saskatchewan-based gold producer, engaged in the production, exploration and development of gold mineral reserves and mineral resources. Claude's entire asset base is located in Canada, with its principal assets being the Seabee gold operation located 125 km northeast of La Ronge, SK.  Claudes head office is located in Saskatoon, SK.

We are currently seeking four (4) Temporary Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Operators at our Seabee Operation, to work from approximately May to October 2014.

The WTP is used to treat mine tailings water.  The plant operates 24 hours per day and the successful candidates will be required to work a combination of day and night shifts during the contract.  The WTP Operator is responsible for completing routine checks of the WTP every 30 minutes which involves climbing stairs and ladders and collecting samples from the plants water tanks.  A more comprehensive check is done every three hours.  The WTP Operator must be comfortable working alone at times.

A positive and proactive attitude toward safety is essential.  All candidates must be self-starters, willing to learn new skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Previous experience working at a mine site and/or in a waste water treatment plant would be considered an asset.

The work rotation will be 2 weeks in/2 weeks out; or 3 weeks in/1 week out.

The Seabee Operation is a fly-in camp with flights coming from La Ronge, Prince Albert, Flin Flon and Saskatoon.

Summer students are welcomed to apply.  Please indicate on your cover letter how long you are available to work and your salary expectation.

Interested applicants are invited to submit their resumes by March 31, 2014 to hr@clauderesources.com. Please refer to the title "Temporary Water Treatment Plant Operator" in the subject line of your email.

We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
