Office Manager
Outlook, SK

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a career-minded Office Manager to join their Outlook team.

They are looking for a positive, team-oriented manager to set and meet goals and to ensure that every member of the team is delivering in accordance with the high standards of the companies defined goals.

The Role:

Manage and oversee the corporate budget for office and facilities management across the organization
Oversee all aspects of office administration
Prepares and/or oversees the preparation of a variety of payroll related documents (e.g. invoices for overpayments, retirement plan transfers, payroll register, stop payments, workers compensation checks, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and issues; meeting compliance requirements, and providing audit references
Ensure office is maintained in an organized manner
Review and approve monthly accounts payable
Oversees workload of department for the purpose of maximizing the efficiency of the work force and meeting operational requirements
Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs
Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants
The Ideal Candidate:

College diploma would be an asset
5 years industry experience as an administrative assistant
Fluent in computer skills (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
Supervision/leadership skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Good understanding of administrative and client services
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work in a team environment
Fluent in English (written and oral)
***This is a full-time, temporary position filling a maternity leave until August 3, 2015.  Benefits available after 3 months of employment.
