Nu-Fab Building Products is always looking for high performing individuals to join our team. Nu-Fab manufactures and sells roof and floor trusses, Stairs, Building Materials and we are a dealer of Kitchen Craft Cabinetry. We are currently seeking Full & Partime PRODUCTION TRUSS ASSEMBLERS/LABOURERS for days and evening shifts.

Duties to include but not limited to:
1.Works with a Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order, as directed by the Team Leader.
2.Assembles trusses in accordance with the company procedures and as instructed by the Team Leader.
3.Regularly inspects and checks the quality of the work being performed as well as the quality of the materials and condition of the equipment; and reports any problems to the Team Leader.
4.Maintains a clean workstation throughout the shift, and especially cleaning up shortly before the end of shift.
5.Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner, as instructed.    

Working Conditions:
In an industrial Production Plant environment with sawdust and machine noise, as well as occasional outside yard work in year-round weather.

Skills Required:
1.Able to use hammer & read tape measure in the foot-inch-sixteenth method.
2.Able to read & understand work orders.
3.Verbal and written language proficiency (English).
4.Working cooperatively and supportive as a member of a team
5.Manufacturing industry knowledge, especially related to wood and building manufacturing.

Reports to Production Manager
Works with: Assembler Lead Hand, other Assemblers, Stackers and other members of the Production Department
