Description

We are a fast growing Construction Company with
projects across southeastern Saskatchewan, seeking
a Project Manager to support Company's expanding
operations. The Project manager is responsible for
the planning, organization, business and
contractual side of the projects and overall
delivery of the projects on time, on budget and on
scope to meet company's objectives. He/she will be
in charge of planning, scheduling, organization
and delivery of the construction project in a safe
environment on time, on budget and on quality
while maintaining project team relationships and
maximizing profit.

Description

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate
construction projects from start to finish
according to schedule, specifications and budget
Ensure that all the contractual obligations of
the project are understood and met by all parties
Participate in development of initial estimating,
planning schedules, tendering, cost summary and  
reporting format
    Work with project superintendent and
administration to ensure that project estimates,
budgets and costs are properly understood,
monitored, controlled and reported
Work with project superintendent to plan the
execution of the project. Prepare review and
distribute the detailed project schedule. Ensure
monitoring, review and control procedures are in
place.
Sets expected levels of documentation, standards
for accounting issues, methodology of budget
control
Prepare progress reports and issue progress
schedules to clients

Requirements

A minimum 5 years of construction project
management experience
Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or
an applicable engineering degree
Ability to manage changing priorities within
multiple phase projects and possess a track record
of successfully managing large and complex
projects.
Able to manage multiple projects and details
concurrently
