Nu-Fab Building Products is always looking for high performing individuals to join our team. Nu-Fab manufactures and sells roof and floor trusses, Stairs, Building Materials and we are a dealer of Kitchen Craft Cabinetry. We are currently seeking a Full Time Days & Evening Shift - OUTSIDE YARD FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Duties to include:
- unloads trusses from racks
- stage and store trusses
- loads trailers
- keeps yard clean of debris and well organized
- rotates stock
- completes delivery shipping list and all required paperwork for product
- picks joists, cut beams, pick hangers, and package orders
- assists others as instructed by supervisor
reports any unauthorized persons or suspicious activity to the supervisor or other senior manager
- conducts daily check of forklift to ensure safe operation; reports required maintenance or damage
-receive shipments and store in their proper locations
- responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner, as instructed.
Skills Required:
- Forklift Operation Certificate with minimum 2 years experience, preferably in the lumber industry.
Reports to Shipping Manager.
Works with Shipping and Yard staff, other company staff, external truck drivers.
