Queen's House of Retreats requires a cook for
between 10 and 20 hours per week to serve under
our Food Services Coordinator. Duties include but
are not limited to: prepare and cook meals, bake,
plan and direct food preparation & cooking
activities, handle general kitchen duties, and
assume responsibility when coordinator is off
duty.
A year or 2 of experience is a preference but not
necessarily a requirement.

- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions
- Work with minimal supervision
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Clean kitchen and work areas
