Description

Book Keeping
o    Auditing of books of account and arrange
for audits as necessary
o    Be the key resource for the external
Auditor including preparation of the internal
monthly and annual financial reports
o    Responsible for the issuing of checks /
payment of invoices.
o    Responsible for entry and processing of
accounts payable and accounts receivable.
o    Implement and oversee internal system of
handling funds.
o    Complete monthly reconciliation for all
accounts.
o    Report on a regular basis regarding
company status against, and ability to meet, its
strategic and operational objectives
o    Maintain an accurate and complete trail of
supporting documentation for all financial and
bookkeeping activities.
o    Maintain up-to-date, complete and
systematic filing system to support accounting and
financial records.
o    Responsible for tax planning and
compliance with Federal, Provincial and local
corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes.
o    The Finance Manager has the final
responsibility for providing effective financial
controls for the organization.
o    Communicate and collaborate with
departmental leaders to stay abreast of spending,
budgeting, reports, and evaluation
o    Lead staff on accounting, reporting,
internal controls, budgeting, and other financial
matters
o    Analyze current accounting software and
make recommendations for either     
enhancement or replacement
o    Implement approvals of the software
recommendations
o    Review, implement and monitor invoice
authorization
o    Manage budget and control expenses
o    Prepare budget for 2014-2015
o    Build departmental budgeting and reporting
systems
