Salary or Pay Band: $38.080 to $47.490 (6 step range)

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
Basic Life Support for Care Givers (BLS-HCP)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to conduct assessments, prioritize client needs, and develop treatment plans to meet needs regarding treatment with a client and familycentered
approach to care
Ability to plan, develop and deliver educational presentations regarding mental illness to agencies, professionals, individuals, or other community
groups as needed or requested
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary and community partnership program
Basic computer skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, treatment, and medications
Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, DSM IV, and The Family Services Act, Mental Health Approved Home Policy and Regulations, Social
Assistance Program Regulations, Regional Health Policies, RPNAS Code of Ethics, and Rehabilitation Program Guidelines
Knowledge of the demographics and culture in the Heartland Regional Health Authority
Organizational skills
Public and human relation skills
