Description

Primary Responsibilities:
1.Provide caring and professional customer service at all times
2.Delivery of the following pruning services:
Proper pruning techniques as per the ISA Pruning Regulations
Safe and efficient climbing techniques
The ability to perform various pruning practices
Causing minimal damages to property
3.Delivery of the following removal services:
Safe and efficient rigging techniques
Ability to remove trees of all sizes in a safe manner
Ensuring that crew performs excellent clean-up after job is done
Causing minimal damages
4.Delivery of other tree services:
Disease recognition and treatment
Deep root fertilization application
Tree planting and young tree care
5.Increase the knowledge of your support staff
Coach and encourage apprentice arborists
Teach support staff while you are working
Assistance in bidding pruning contract

Secondary Responsibilities:
1.Develop and maintain positive relationships within the organization
2.Help with various projects specific to the TRS Division as well as projects specific to other divisions when required

Required Skills
1.A minimum of one (2) year of experience working in a capacity similar in nature to this position.
2.Climb trees of all sizes and difficulties
3.Operate boom efficiently to service trees of all sizes
4.Prune various species of trees to ISA standards
5.Good organizational skills.
6.Good written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
7.Ability to be insured by our commercial insurance carrier as a driver.
8.Ability to contribute to a positive, fun, and energetic working environment, without losing focus on goals and results.
