Construction Administrative Assistant helps managers roll out workplace initiatives, as well as administrate daily affairs.
Revamp the current filing system. Must have good organizational skills to be able to do it
Review time sheets before sending to payroll. Would need basic addition skills. No keying is required. They have an in house system for the payroll.
Assist in resolving payroll issues which would entail copying and keeping records of DSB (Daily Safety Bulletins) and Debriefing forms. Forms come in daily. Need to check accuracy in the database file
Photocopy required prints from the field packages as directed by the department
Assemble field packages per equipment and elevation (clerical)
Track and progress incoming material for chute assembly, identify material not yet on site. May involve photocopying and validating
Gather info for the pick tickets
Monitor requisitions for tools and equipment. Going through the tickets and compare against the records for accuracy
Assist in building packages for turnover
Qualifications:
Experience working in a construction environment. Personality must be adaptable to this kind of workplace
With good organizational skills and computer Skills - MS Office (Excel & Word), MS Outlook
Timeliness or ability to meet deadlines
Good attention to details
Good in following instructions
Can be able to work in an odd schedule - 10 day straight and 4 days off (8 hours and 2 hours OT)
Available for work ASAP
Willing to undergo Drug & Alcohol testing
Work Location is in Vanscoy but transportation is available through service van
