This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the interior door and exterior door production schedule. Working closely with the Production Manager, products are scheduled to meet delivery requirements and maintain reasonable lead times.
Manufacturing orders are produced by the sales department, and are then scheduled in via this position. The person in place must be very organized and detail orientated. Microsoft Excel, along with our internal inventory software are used to maintain the schedule and keep the warehouse organized.
Extensive training will be provided, but knowledge of the door and hardware industry is a strong asset.
Position & Responsibilities:
Create, monitor, and track production orders for the production team
Maintain a constant production schedule and calendar to ensure the product is created on time
Work closely with the sales team to ensure work orders are accurate for production
Participate in weekly production meetings
Requirements:
Knowledge of the door and hardware industry is a necessity
sales or production experience applicable
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of basic manufacturing principles and the use of hand and power tools
Extreme attention to detail and high level of organization
Compensation:
Salary to be determined based on qualifications.
