What youll get to do as a Business Development Manager at MHPM:
Initiate and nurture prospective client relationships to seek out and secure specific opportunities where MHPMs experience and expertise can be leveraged
Lead the business development effort with assigned sectors and clients, motivating and monitoring the business development activities of other regional staff
Assess networking and trade show opportunities in the region from a business development perspective and assume a leadership role to plan and participate in these events
Participate proactively in regional and national business development, marketing and sales meetings
Play a major role in setting and achieving annual and monthly sales objectives and targets
Develop and maintain as required, detailed knowledge of the companys products and services
Effectively leverage the companys CRM software through regular and consistent use of our ACT! Software

What youll need to be successful:
A university Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and industry experience
A minimum of 7 years experience in a similar Business Development role for consulting firms or other non-commodity environments
Previous experience developing and executing tactical sales plans as well as regularly exceeding established quotas and account objectives
The ability to acquire and maintain strong networks of influential contacts within the region
Active presence and engagement on LinkedIn or other networking forums
Strong proficiency using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point) as well as CRM database tracking programs
The ability to lead a team in the development and delivery of winning proposals
