Description

Description: Can you fix a computer network problem? Can you size up a situation quickly and enact a plan to make it easier for customers to get their work done? Can you repair a damaged computer? Can you stomach the "occasional Mac"? Can you remove a virus? Can you do those things with a smile on your face, and WITHOUT ALIENATING YOUR CUSTOMER?

If so, this job may be exactly your speed.

LPK Technologies seeks a PROFESSIONAL Service & Support Technician, to assist our incoming Business Development Manager and Technical Consultant in making LPK Technologies the "go-to" service entity in Saskatoon and surrounding area. For the past 14 years, we've prided ourselves in being a people-oriented, "non-geeky" IT firm, and our Clients love us because of it.

What do you need?
A positive, OPEN mind and a PEOPLE-ORIENTED ATTITUDE--we do things differently!
Actionable knowledge of TCP/IP based networking, routers, switches and hubs
A desire to learn how to manage several IT customer environments, and a love for doing something different each day with different people
A working knowledge of domain-based servers, with decent experience in peer-to-peer networking
Physical fitness to bend and lift light loads as necessary
Ability to communicate directly with Clients to answer questions, and team members to make solutions
An idea of where you'd like to be in 3 years. A career? Or just a job?

You will be confident in your abilities, but you won't be arrogant about it. Your customers will be important to you, and not just a "distraction". Your team members will recognize your talents, and assign you tasks accordingly. However, you'll have the initiative to execute and "fill in the gaps" they miss. You won't hold back your skills or expertise, because you'll find that everyone helps each other at LPK.
