Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Administrator to complement our
team. Working in a high-tech software development office, the right
candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day technical and
maintenance work necessary to keep our staff productive. He or she
will facilitate not only the necessities of a functioning office, but
also VendAstas workplace environment - our pride and joy! So
dont be surprised if after youve assembled some shelves and
diagnosed some software issues, you find yourself rigging up an AV
system for an office StarCraft tournament.

Responsibilities:

-Order supplies, equipment, and software as needed
-Perform software installations
-Diagnose and correct problems (hardware, mechanical, building
maintenance)
-Perform maintenance around the office
-Create and manage user accounts
-Provide desktop support
-Work closely with our IT department to ensure the smooth
functioning of office technology
-Be a knowledgeable point of contact for outside parties working
with us on technical and maintenance issues
-Make sure employees have everything they need in their work
environment
-Create and maintain office inventories
-Furniture assembly
-Office recycling
-Some cleanup

Skills and Qualifications:

-Minimum 2 years related experience
-Skill with power tools
-Mechanical and electrical aptitude, and a general understanding of
parts, equipment, tools, drawings, etc.
-Strong communication and time management skills
-Very strong computer skills
-Drivers license and vehicle
-Experience in entry level IT an asset
