Based in one of Saskatchewans expanding and growing cities, this position will work synergistically with existing leadership. This established team offers extensive industry knowledge and experience. You will oversee our clients sales, marketing and public relations activities and most of the day-to-day Operations, P&L, HSE and HR activities. This is a new and incremental senior level position within an established organization, reporting directly to the shareholders.
As the key member of the management team, you will supervise overall business affairs and proper handling of financial matters. You will lead in business development and project management and suggest operational efficiencies; desiring to expand profit making results for the organization. You will develop, manage, and grow relationships with urban and rural clients, stakeholders, partners, and staff.
Ideally, you are a seasoned leader with a successful tr ack record of supervising a paving, road construction, aggregate, cement company, or similar business operations. Combine your strong planning, estimating, surveying and / or civil project management experience with a solid history of developing winning profitable bids, organizing both the fleet and personnel for effective project completion. Technical skills in costing, contract management, RFPs and tendering, combined with industry related experience and the internal mentorship will get you up to speed fast. Developing lasting relationships comes naturally to you, in both professional and social settings.
