Description

We are currently recruiting for a Scale Technician in Saskatoon, SK
This position is responsible for the efficient, safe and timely installation, maintenance inspection, certification and repair of weigh systems within our country operation facilities.
Job Requirements:
    Plans, schedules and performs maintenance inspections and certification of weighing devices.
    Identifies and diagnoses problems, adjusting and repairing weighing devices as necessary.
    Completes repairs and adjusts weighing devices to correct deficiencies identified by governing bodies.
    Installs weighing device equipment in new and existing facilities in accordance with the governing bodies requirements.
    Keeps an adequate inventory of weighing device equipment and components, including replacement parts.
    Compiles accurate, timely and legible administrative documents including budgeting information, weighing device reports, truck reports, Device Inspection Certificates through the use of a computer.
    Supervises and trains co-workers and/or subordinates to assist in the installation, testing and repair of weighing devices.
    Trains operations staff in safe working practices and procedures relating to the operation of weighing scales.
    Develops, tracks and reports inspection and work requests relative to weigh scale services.
    Operates and is responsible for a heavy duty vehicle used in transport of staff, tools and equipment.
    Identifies, implements and communicates management and operational best practices to colleagues within the department, division and inter-divisional partners/customers.
    Completes training and exams to become a Certified Scale Technician under Measurement Canadas Registration process.
    Performs other related duties as required.
