We are looking for a live-in caregiver to looked after our three wonderful girls. Room and board will deducted $250 per month.
We are looking for an experienced, caring, honest, and fun-loving caregiver. Some light house keeping and meal preparation. Caregiver must be non smoker and be able to provide references as well as criminal record check. Drivers license and CPR/First Aid Certificate would be an asset.
The position is permanent full time for 2 years or longer.
Essential Skills
- Oral communication
Children'S Ages
- Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years)
- School age (6 - 12 years)
- Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years)
Transportation/Travel Information
- Vehicle supplied by employer
- Valid driver's licence
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- First Aid Certificate
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
Specific Skills
- Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Supervise and care for children
- Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants
- Read to children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods
- Help children with homework
