About You
5 or more years experience estimating commercial
buildings, for general contractors. Proven
capability to estimate commercial projects
from fit-outs and renovations through $10
plus million commercial and institutional
buildings.
Proven capability to compile cost estimates for
$5 million plus design-build projects, with the
skills to participate in the contracts team.
Preparing proposal documents and negotiation
contracts with clients.
Excellent communication skills working in a
collaborative team environment.
The Role
Reporting to the operations Manager and
responsible for completing detail quantified cost
estimates, to complete the project as per the
contract drawing and specifications
-Detailed knowledge of market cost for labour
materials and equipment.
-Solicit pricing from subcontractor and supplier
pricing with recommendations.
-Prepare analysis of subcontractor and supplier
pricing with recommendations.
-Prepare final complete cost estimates, complete
with summaries using Sage Timerberline software.
-Maintain accurate files on estimates along with
managing historical cost data.

- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
- Estimate pre-contract costs
- Analyze tenders and recommend awards
