This position is located in Missinipe,
Saskatchewan at the Churchill River Trading Post.
The CRTP is owned and operated by Thompson's Camps
Otter Lake Resort and its parent company Adventure
Destinations International.
All accommodations and food for the season are
provided free of charge.
Grocery clerks are responsible to make sure the
grocery section of the store is well-stocked for
our customers. They assist in receiving, storing,
and stocking of products while ensuring proper
product rotation and quality. They create and
build product displays, ensure proper fronting of
products, and handle product damages and credits
according to company policy. Grocery clerks must
be familiar with store products and their
locations in order to assist customers in locating
items. In addition, grocery clerks must be able to
perform all duties of a cashier.
Specific Skills
- Stock shelves and display areas
- Operate cash register
- Keep stock clean and in order
- Bag, box or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery
- Unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items
- Order stock
- Record incoming stock
- Perform general cleaning duties (i.e. sweeping, mopping floors)
