Our client a Canadian Farm Equipment manufacturing company, with regional, national and international operations who is seeking a Purchasing Professional / Purchasing Manager for Saskatchewan. This role will ensure on-time delivery and continued customer satisfaction based on their booming demand; delivering products to make the customer's job faster and easier.
Your role in Purchasing is crucial to ensure their organization stays productive and competitive in the marketplace. You will be given the autonomy to source best value, quality, reliability, availability, and delivery while receiving the support needed from regional management. In addition to a need for cost effectiveness, you will also be mindful of sustainability, risk management, health and safety, ethical issues and the complete supply change.
The preference will be given to someone who has 3-5 years direct experience in low volume / high mix custom manufacturing and/or similar engineered product manufacturing processes with a focus on lean and JIT delivery. Someone with, or working towards, professional certification in Supply Chain or Procurement preferred (SCMP).
