Description

Managing office, industrial and retail assets in excess of 38M square feet, Arcturus provides a comprehensive scope of real estate management services through our committed team of over 500 geographically dispersed professionals. Arcturus Realty Corporation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SNC-Lavalin O&M Inc (TSX: SNC)

We currently have one full time position and one temporary position (until end of October 2014) available.

Responsibilities
Assist the Property Manager with the preparation of budgets and forecasts for assigned building within the portfolio

Perform variance analysis and prepare various financial and operational reports

Liaise with accounting regarding accounts receivable and accounts payable as required

Communicate effectively with client and suppliers to ensure any areas of concern are addressed promptly and thoroughly

Responsible for document control

Liaise and communicate with tenants and suppliers

Assist the Property Manager in enforcing terms and provisions of leases

Work safely and adhere to our Health&Safety Action Plan

Perform ad-hoc administrative functions relating to property management as assigned by the Property Manager

Reception duties and general clerical support as required

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years related experience in accounting or administration

Experience working in the Property Management environment is an asset

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of JD Edwards an asset

Effective conflict resolution and customer service skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills

Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy atmosphere

Strong sense of confidentiality and diplomacy

Able to obtain required security clearance
