Description

Sask. Landing Regional Water Pipeline Utility requires a Water Treatment Plant Operator to operate a Class II Reverse Osmosis water treatment plant in the Town of Elrose, Saskatchewan.  

The successful applicant must possess a Class II Water Treatment certification valid in Saskatchewan or be eligible to gain the required certification in the near future.  This position will report to the Water System Operations Supervisor and be responsible for all aspects of water treatment required to provide safe water to a variety of urban and rural water users.  Experience operating reverse osmosis water treatment plants will be considered an important asset but not mandatory.  Additional certification in water distribution and/or waste water treatment will also be considered an asset.

This is a new facility currently under construction and is part of a new regional water system.  This position may also operate a secondary water treatment plant as a relief operator.  A willingness to learn new skills and technologies will be useful to the position.  The project is currently in construction and the Utility wishes to employ a Water Treatment Plant Operator as soon as possible so as to allow the employee to be part of the project from construction through commissioning and onto operations.
