The Challenge:
Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, you are accountable for fielding service desk calls from all employees, answering questions on function and use of applications, engaging in problem investigation, analysis and troubleshooting and following through on issues until a resolution has been reached. You will liaise with third party vendors to resolve end-user problems and discuss new product offerings. You will develop business use cases and screen mockups, describing the business processes and expected functional experience and perform quality and user acceptance testing exercises for new and existing products. Your experience will enable you to maintain quality service through analyzing and resolving customer service problems and recommending system improvements.
Location:
We are looking for a Business Analyst to be based at our Head Office in Saskatoon for a Monday through Friday work week.
Qualifications:
- Experience with banking systems (preference to Open Solutions eroWORKS(DNA) Banking System)
- Bachelors degree or certificate from an approved technical college in a computer-related field such as computer science, information science or management information systems
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience working with banking systems, switching systems (ABM and POS), IT service desk and desktop management in a business analyst capacity and/or service desk role
- Experience with SQL query or CView
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications and services
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Exceptional time-management and administrative skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly enthusiastic self-starter and strong team player
- Flexible and willing to take on tasks as assigned
