Description

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

    Day to day operations of data systems (downloading, processing and validating data, identifying any issues with the data systems, running reports)
    VPP (Vehicle Preclearance Program)  responsible for new enrolments and updates as requested by program customers. Interaction with customers by email and telephone will be required.
    Development and revision of documentation related to Data Services and VPP, such as procedures and working instructions.
    Other duties as required

SKILLS REQUIRED:

    Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
    Broad based knowledge of IT concepts
    The ability to work in a team environment with a strong service orientation
    Good analytical & problem solving skills and logical decision-making abilities
    Ability to work with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
        Ability to maintain scripts and routines used for data processing
    Ability to provide technical support for internal and external users of the data systems including but not limited to SQL queries and custom reports
    Ability to perform in-depth analysis to determine the cause for data anomalies
    Ability to perform command line tasks on UNIX and or Linux based systems


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    Minimum 1 year experience working with data processing or information technology.
