Description

AMECs Mining & Metals Business Unit currently has an exciting opportunity available for an IT Coordinator/Support at the KSPC Legacy Project Site in Bethune, Saskatchewan.If you have a successful track record and thrive on challenges in a fast paced environment, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring that the delivery of IT services are scheduled and prioritized to meet the requirements of the Project Management Team, and ensuring that IT network administration tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner
Executing IT related activities in accordance with AMEC IT policies, procedures, standards, and specifications.
Supporting, as required, in the execution of IT projects at project site.
Identifying and pursuing opportunities to enhance and/or improve IT services and solutions for the Project Management Team.
Supporting client systems and staff in a Windows Active Directory environment.
Assisting with ongoing moves, additions, and changes to desktop computers, including building and configuring computers (hardware and software) as well as installing new software on desktop computers    
Qualifications:
Graduate of a recognized IT-related training program,
Strong working knowledge and experience in supporting corporate Windows-based networks and Microsoft applications coupled with strong customer services skills and experience
A++ certification and/or MCSE certification is a plus
A strong knowledge and significant experience with relevant IT technologies and ability to utilize such knowledge to solve problems and trouble shoot issues.
The ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and service level objectives.
