AMECs Mining & Metals business unit currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Planner/Scheduler, this position is located in our Saskatoon, SK office.  Reporting to the Manager, Project Services, and working alongside other team members locally, you will have the opportunity to provide lead support on one of our major projects. Priority will be given to local candidates.

Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining Project schedules with project team members (EPCM)
Providing  team with decision support and tracking reports
Monitoring progress against plans and schedules and reporting on status and analyzing the CPM
Creating integrated project schedules
Maintaining and updating project schedules
Working with engineers and contractors
Resource management and forecasting
Qualifications:
Strong Project planning, scheduling, and project execution experience is essential
Minimum of 10 years experience in project controls, planning, and scheduling
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Scheduler experience
Experience with mining & metal projects would be an asset
Strong skills with the suite of Primavera (P-6) products
Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
Ability to work with diverse groups, from top level executive to field foreman
Effective communication and presentation
