W.S. White's Ag Sales & Services in Whitewood, Sk. is now hiring Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our team. At WSW, we focus on customer service and support. Whatever it takes to keep our customers productive, we will do our best to deliver on that promise. Whether it is looking for parts for that heritage tractor you are restoring to programming the latest in GPS technology, we strive to deliver the goods and service that our customers require to be successful.
Duties include:
Check and inspect agricultural equipment such as combines, harvesters, harrows, heavy truck, plows, planters, sprayers, tractors and windrowers to detect faults and malfunctions.
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
Test repaired equipment for proper performances and to ensure that work meets manufacturer's specification.
Service attachments and working tools such as harvesting and tillage equipment, blades, ploughs winches and side booms.
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
Agricultural experience is an asset
Some high school is an asset but not required.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

- Keep maintenance reports and documentation
- Instruct apprentices
