FACILITY/LOCATION: Battlefords District Care Centre

DEPARTMENT: Nursing

TYPE: Permanent Full Time

HOURS OF WORK: In a 6 week rotation - 28 shifts of 8.00 hours

START DATE: November 25, 2013

RATE OF PAY: $38.080 to $47.490 (6 step range)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

-Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
-Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

-Ability to adapt to changing conditions
-Ability to make decisions, which must include coordination of staffing, and/or patient care, and/or coordination of equipment
-Assessment skills
-Communication skills
-Interpersonal skills
-Leadership skills
-Problem solving skills
-Working knowledge of the MDS-LTC Assessment Tool
