Looking for work life balance in rural Saskatchewan? Due to a retirement, our client is in search of a Municipal Foreman whose primary purpose will be to provide a safe and well maintained municipality. As the Municipal Foreman you will bring forward expertise in areas of leadership and management, road maintenance and building, operating heavy equipment, snow removal as well as being able to provide repair and general maintenance to RM equipment and vehicles. The successful candidate will have 5 years of supervisory and industry related experience.
Areas of responsibility include:
Supervise, train and mentor staff
Daily Coordination of staff, equipment and work activities
Ensure monthly safety meetings
Oversee equipment repair, ongoing maintenance, and safety checks
Provide monthly reports to administration and council
Provide recommendations regarding expenses related to repairs, maintenance, purchases and budget
In addition to your sound management and people skills, you are experienced in road maintenance, grading techniques, road building and snow removal. Previous experience operating heavy equipment is an asset. A solid understanding of OH S guidelines is required.
