Unit Barn Manager is responsible for day to day operations within a specific part of the hog production unit (ie. breeding, farrowing, and nursery). Unit managers should be skilled at all activities relating to their area of the unit, working without direct supervision. Working under the guidance of the manager and / or assistant manager of the farm, the unit manager is responsible for the supervision and training of up to 5 staff members in their area of the barn. Minimum 3-5 years experience required as well as a minimum of high school diploma and college/vocational training
