Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years Human Resources work experience, or comparable job experience
- Working knowledge of Employment Legislation & Standards, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and standard Human Resource procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is essential
- Demonstrated competence using Microsoft Software programs including Word and Excel
- Must be detail-oriented and accurate
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and multi task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A positive and cooperative team player attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively and to inspire confidence from supervisors and peers
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Must work closely with the leadership team and all Rem employees
- Implement, administer and communicate corporate policies and procedures
- Responsible for recruitment, selection, employee hire and orientation to provide adequate staffing as directed by management
- Monitor performance evaluation, promotion, transfer and termination processes to ensure appropriate procedures are followed
- Coordinate and administer the Companys events, service awards and benefit programs
- Coordinate the production and maintenance of training manuals and material, employee handbook, job descriptions, policies and procedures
- Work with leadership team to identify training and development needs and arrange for resources to meet these needs
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Human Resource Manager
