Job #: 013-134-S
Reporting to the Desktop Infrastructure Coordinator, this position is responsible for the following:

Planning, advising and implementing processes for the maintenance of the Desktop infrastructure
-Deploying and upgrading of the Desktop infrastructure
-Assisting with Network components in a LAN/WAN environment
Assisting all personnel in utilizing computer systems to solve business issues
-Utilizing Project and Change Management processes in day to day functions
-Working closely with Desktop and Network Infrastructure Coordinators and Helpdesk Administrator
-Assisting in maintaining a comprehensive multi-site computing environment
-Proficiency in learning and making assessments quickly while adapting to new situations and locations
-Providing weekend coverage and on-call support as scheduled
-Willing to contribute in developing an environment that will foster teamwork
-Willing to accommodate extended travel to sites

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
-Solid understanding of Desktop\Server hardware and WAN environments
-Proficient with all aspects of PC hardware
-Excellent background in Windows, Microsoft servers and other company standard software
-Strong communication and trouble shooting skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
-5+ years relevant experience in maintaining PC?s in a LAN/WAN environment
-The ability to work both independently and within a team environment

Work Location & Schedule: Saskatoon office, with visits to mine site as required.
