Teachers at Whitmore Park Co-op are required to ensure the safety of the attending children while also providing opportunities for growth and discovery. Working as a team with co-workers and parents is essential to the success of the daycare.
In addition, teachers are responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of snacks and meals. There is also some general cleaning required to ensure a safe and clean environment is maintained.
Educators will have a child-intiated curriculum and will program to meet the individual needs and interests of the children in their care. Educators may be required to work as a support to children with diverse abilities.
