One of our clients is looking for a dynamic Human Resource Consultant. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with 3 to 5 years of experience in working as a HR Generalist or Labour Relations, preferably in a unionized manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Please note that the position is full time temporary and will convert to permanent based on the performance.
Job Description
-Train and guide management on the attendance management program and the corrective discipline policy
-Conduct workplace investigations of employee issues and complaints
-Coach management and employees on communication and conflict management
-Advise management on labour relations and the collective agreement
-Ensure consistent application of the Drug and Alcohol policy
-Recruit hourly personal
Qualifications/Skills
-3 to 5 years HR Generalist or Labour Relations experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing, industrial or production environment
-Excellent leadership, planning, organization and problem solving skills
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Knowledge about Saskatchewan Labour and Employment Law
-Experience in working collaboratively with plant management
Compensation
The annual package depends upon the candidates experience and skill set and ranges from $65K-$75K.
Note: The candidate must be willing to complete a criminal background check and Drug & Alcohol test when required.
